NoSpeedBreakerGauge stops the SpeedBreaker charge meter from drawing on Most Wanted's race HUD. The radar, the pursuit display, the minimap, the speedometer, the tachometer, the nitrous gauge and the wrong-way icon stay as they are.
What goes with it
The meter has no texture of its own: the game builds it from a round bezel that the heat gauge beside it uses too. Hiding the meter hides that bezel, so the heat gauge goes with it, and its mask is removed as well so nothing is left floating. That is the trade, and the readme sets it out before you install.
Settings
NoSpeedBreakerGauge.ini holds the switch, the mode (Blank, the default, or Skip) and the texture names, which can be narrowed to the bezel alone. NoSpeedBreakerGauge.log lists every texture it hid. It works the same way as NoShadows and checks for retail v1.3 (US) first.
